The Recipe Of Liquorise Bootlaces





hey, by English lessens we read the book Boy of Roald Dahl, On Pages 30 is the recipe of Liquorise Bootlaces.


What do you need?
1000 rats bones
2 poles
2 men
fire
1 huge shiny steel cauldron 
1 cruncher
1 steam-roller
The instructions
  1. Dump all the rats bones into a huge shiny steel cauldron.
  2. Boil them for about 3 or 4 hours.
  3. 2 men stir the bubbling cauldron with long poles.
  4. At the end you have a thick steaming rat-stew.
  5. After that, put a cruncher is lowered into the cauldron to crunch the rat bones.
  6. What is left is a pulpy substance called rat-match.
  7. The 2 men put their wellington boots on.
  8. The 2 men climb into the cauldron and shovel the hot rat-mash out on to a concrete  floor.
  9. The 2 men run with the steam-roller over it several times to flatten it out.
  10. Wait for it to cool and to harden.
  11. When it’s hardened, then cut it up into strips to make the bootlaces.
